3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film is an alcohol-free liquid skin protectant that dries quickly to form a transparent, breathable, and waterproof barrier.
The long-lasting film helps protect intact, irritated, or damaged skin from bodily fluids, wound drainage, friction, shear, and damage associated with medical adhesives. Its transparent finish allows the skin to remain visible for easy monitoring.
Suitable for adults, children, and infants over 1 month old.

How to Use
Clean and thoroughly dry the skin before application.
Hold the spray approximately 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) from the skin. Apply a smooth, even coating over the entire area requiring protection.
Allow the film to dry completely for approximately 30 seconds. If an area was missed, apply additional product only after the first coating has dried.
When using beneath tape, a dressing, or another adhesive product, allow the film to dry completely before applying the adhesive. Reapply whenever the dressing or adhesive is changed.
When protecting skin from bodily fluids without an adhesive dressing, reapplication is generally recommended every 24–72 hours, depending on cleansing frequency and exposure.

The spray format is not recommended around intravenous catheter sites or for use in surgical settings. Other barrier products, creams, ointments, or lotions may reduce its effectiveness.
