My name is Jina, and I'll be your guide across the universe of French Health & Beauty Products.
I have French ancestry and relocated from the United States with my family to France 10 years ago. Being a product junkie, I quickly fell in love with French pharmacies and their place in French culture.
In France, the pharmacies are almost as ubiquitous as the roundabout, and there are approximately 18,000 of them. But this understates the prevalence of community pharmacies, as there are many additional parapharmacies.
The distinction between a traditional French pharmacy and a parapharmacy is important, particularly when explaining the products we offer at Pharmarcie.
French pharmacies dispense prescription medications as well as offering a wide range of health and beauty products. Parapharmacies specialize in skincare, cosmetics, personal care, wellness, and non-prescription health products.
At Pharmarcie.com, we focus on bringing French health and beauty products to customers throughout the United States, including selected over-the-counter health products.
We do not fill prescriptions or sell prescription-only medications.
Because product classifications and regulations can differ between France and the United States, we review our product offerings and remove items when we identify restrictions affecting their importation or sale in the U.S.
How We Ship Your Favorite French Products
At Pharmarcie, we make it easy for our American customers to enjoy their favorite French health and beauty products without the hassle of ordering internationally.
We offer two convenient shipping methods:
QUICK SHIP — Delivery in 2–4 Days
We stock over 3,000 of our most popular French health and beauty products at our U.S. warehouse in Florence, Kentucky.
These products are ready for immediate fulfillment, with orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, generally shipping the same business day.
STANDARD SHIP — Delivery in 7–14 Days
Our extended catalog includes over 22,000 additional French health and beauty products shipped directly from France to our Kentucky warehouse through our regular bulk shipments.
This allows us to offer a much larger selection of French products while regularly replenishing our inventory to maintain product freshness.
Once the products arrive in the United States and clear customs, we prepare your order and hand it over to USPS for final delivery.
Please note: STANDARD SHIP products cannot be upgraded to QUICK SHIP because they must first arrive from France.
Tracking Your Order
You will receive tracking information for your shipment. For STANDARD SHIP orders, USPS tracking may not show movement immediately because your products are still traveling from France.
Your tracking will begin updating once your package enters the U.S. postal network.
Our Shipping Rates
- Flat Rate Shipping: $5.95 for orders under $50.
- FREE Shipping: On qualifying orders of $50 or more.
Ordering Both QUICK SHIP and STANDARD SHIP Products?
No problem! We will generally ship your available QUICK SHIP products first, followed by your STANDARD SHIP products when they arrive from France.
You may receive two separate packages, but you will only pay one shipping charge for your entire order.
We handle the international transportation, customs clearance, and fulfillment process so you can enjoy your favorite French products without worrying about unexpected import charges.

Our STANDARD SHIP products travel from France to our Kentucky warehouse as part of our regular bulk shipments. These shipments must complete the applicable U.S. customs and import clearance procedures before individual orders are dispatched to customers.
STANDARD SHIP delivery is estimated at 7–14 days from the date you place your order. International transportation and customs processing can occasionally cause delays.
If we encounter an unexpected problem or significant delay with your order, we will contact you by email.

I absolutely love walking into French pharmacies and parapharmacies! I'm always excited to discover new products, whether they're from my favorite established brands or exciting newcomers.
One of the things I particularly love about French pharmacies is the knowledgeable beauty and skincare specialists, known as animatrices, who are often available to offer advice and introduce customers to new products.
Although these specialists generally represent particular brands, they're always happy to answer questions and share their expertise (while gently encouraging you to try their own brand, of course!).
And don't forget to ask for échantillons — the French word for product samples! French pharmacies often have wonderful little samples available, and we love sharing that tradition with our Pharmarcie customers.
