Cerucalm Ear Drops for Itchy Ears
Cerucalm ear solution was developed by Bausch & Lomb to relieve irritation of the external ear canal caused by fungal infections, eczema, or dermatitis. It will also be highly appreciated by swimmers, who are more prone to recurring ear infections due to contact with chlorine, seawater, and germs. This ENT medical device is indicated as an adjunct to appropriate medical treatments and comes in the form of drops applied by instillation directly into the ear. Its composition is based on various oily plant extracts and purified water.
The soothing active ingredients of Cerucalm ear drops
The plants selected for the formulation of Cerucalm are oregano, thyme, cinnamon, olive, rosemary, peppermint, lavender, goldenseal, and lemon tree. These plant extracts have two main functions: some have an antibacterial effect that eliminates germs that cause infection or prevents their appearance, and others provide hydration to maintain cell renewal. Their oily form also strengthens the skin barrier, preventing dryness and relieving itching associated with irritation.
Cerucalm ear solution is suitable for adults and children. For more comprehensive ear hygiene, particularly with regard to earwax, we offer Ceruspray ear solution.

How to use Cerualgia ear drops
Wash hands and unscrew the vial stopper.
Tilt the head or lie on the side so as to orient the ear upwards.
Gently pull the lobe of the ear away from the neck.
Turn the bottle head down and press on both sides. Dose 1 to 2 drops of the product in the ear.
Keep your head tiled for a few minutes.
Wipe the excess liquid using a clean paper handkerchief.
It is recommended to clog the external ear canal with cotton wool after application.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 drops in the affected ear up to 3 times a day. If you do not improve after 3 days or in case of deterioration of the condition, consult your doctor.
Children over 6 months of age: 2 drops in the affected ear up to 3 times a day.
Use only under the supervision of an adult or physician. If not improved after 3 days or if the condition is damaged, consult your doctor.
After use in children, it is advisable to protect the ear with cotton wool.
Do not use in children less than 6 months of age.
External use only.
The effectiveness of the treatment should be monitored by a doctor.
Do not use more than 3 days and chronically.
This product should only be used after an otoscopic examination by a doctor.
Do not use after surgery or surgical treatment of the ear, in children less than 6 months of age, in case of prolonged pain or swelling caused by a fungal or bacterial inflammatory condition (a doctor must be consulted), in case of ear discharge or if the eardrum is damaged.
Do not apply to an ear with a hearing aid. This solution will be applied one hour before installation of the prosthesis.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: consult a doctor before using this product.
External use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes of the throat, nose and mouth.
After opening the vial, use Cerualgia for 4 weeks. Write the date of first use on the bottle.
