Chauvin Vitamin B12 Eye Drops are indicated as an adjunct treatment for eye healing disorders. They are available without a prescription and come in single-dose form.
The active ingredient in this healing eye drop is, as its name suggests, vitamin B12 or cyanocobalamin (0.2 mg per 0.4 ml of eye drop, or one dose). The excipients are simply sodium chloride and purified water.
How to use the healing vitamin B12 eye drop?
You can administer 3 or 4 instillations throughout the day.
Each single-dose unit should be systematically discarded after use, even if there is still vitamin B12 eye drop inside. You should not keep it for future use.
Before using this healing eye drop, wash your hands and then break off the tip of the dose, taking care not to let it come into contact with your fingers or the eye.
Pull your eyelid down and look at the ceiling, tilting your head back. Place 1 to 2 drops in the hollow.
Close your eye for a few seconds and wipe off any excess with a compress.
Precautions for using Chauvin vitamin B12 eye drops
If you need to use more than one eye drop, leave at least 15 minutes between each application.
Cyanocobalamin, or vitamin B12, is a colored eye drop: wearing contact lenses is therefore not recommended while using this eye drop.
Medical advice is required before use during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.
If symptoms persist or worsen: vision problems, irritation, pain, or redness, it is important to consult a doctor promptly.
After instilling Chauvin Vitamin B12 eye drops, slight vision problems may occur. Wait until these symptoms disappear before driving or operating machinery.
Do not use if you are known to be allergic to cyanocobalamin.
Read the instructions carefully before use.
