Cicathenol Eye Spray from Bausch + Lomb Laboratories is a medical device for preventing and treating the symptoms of dry eye and periocular dryness. It soothes and helps heal the eyelids. Thanks to its action, Cicathenol spray reduces inflammation and redness.
Dry eye occurs when we don't produce enough tears, or when they are of poor quality. This phenomenon causes discomfort due to the stinging and burning sensations it causes. Furthermore, the eyelids can also be damaged, particularly in cases of itching or irritation.
The active ingredients in Cicathenol Eye and Eyelid Spray
The active ingredients of Cicathenol spray eyes and eyelids
Cicathenol Eye Spray contains dexpanthenol, or provitamin B5. It moisturizes both the dry eye and the eyelid. It relieves discomfort and helps tissues heal. It helps the eyelids rebuild their skin barrier, which limits dryness and sensitivity. When the skin barrier is damaged, the skin is prone to contact and atopic dermatitis. Thanks to dexpanthenol, the skin is hydrated and its barrier is improved.
Cicathénol eye spray also contains sacha inchi seed oil, which helps the eyelids heal and has antioxidant properties. It is also cytoprotective.
Finally, this spray also incorporates trehalose, which, combined with the antioxidants in sacha inchi oil, has a protective effect and promotes healing.
Instructions for use of Cicathenol eye spray
This eye spray should be used with the eyelids closed.
Cicathénol eye spray is suitable for children and adults.
It can be used by contact lens wearers.

ADVICE OF USE:
- Remove the protective cap before each use.
- Before the first application test the spraying mechanism several times, for example in the air or on your arm. Press the nozzle head completely to apply the spray.
- Hold the vial at 15-20 cm from the eyes, the nozzle facing the eye.
- Apply 1 or 2 sprays to the closed eyelids. It is possible to use the spray every day as often as necessary, even when wearing contact lenses.
- After use, put the protective cap back on the nozzle head.
Do not use when sensitivated to any of the components.
Wait 10 minutes if you need to use other care products afterwards.
Use 6 months after opening and adhere to the expiry date. And to keep between 5 and 25 degrees.
Composition: dexpanthenol (provitamine B5) 0.5%, sacha inchi seed oil (Plukenetia volubilis) 0.5%, trehalose and glycerol in a sterile and hypotonic emulsion.
Other ingredients: purified water, potassium chloride, trometamol, citric acid monohydrate, sorbitan monooleate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate.
