Beaphar Fiprotec 50 mg Spot-on Solution Cats 6 Pipettes of 0,50ml are pipettes with Fipronil recommended for the treatment and prevention of infestations by fleas and ticks for the cat. For cats, the treatment and prevention of infestations by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) may be included in a treatment program for flea allergy dermatitis treatment, if previously diagnosed by the veterinarian. The duration of the protection against infestations by fleas is of 5 weeks. For cats, the treatment and prevention of infestations by ticks (Ixodes ricinus) allows to eliminate the ticks present on animal in the 48 hours. The treatment doesn't protect against the new infestations of ticks.

Read carefully the instructions before use. Veterinary use. External only. 1 pipette of 0. 5 ml per cat. By topical application on the skin. Use immediately after first opening the wafer. No special storage conditions. Keep the pipette in the wafer and box until it is used to protect it from light. The shelf life after first opening of the immediate packaging: to be used immediately. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated. Hold the pipette vertically. Tap the narrow portion of the pipette to make sure the contents are in the main part of the pipette. Cut the tip of the pipette with scissors. Spread the hair between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and gently press to empty its contents on the skin, preferably at two points, one at the base of the skull and a second 2-3 cm lower. Special care must be taken to avoid excessive moistening of the bristles with the product, causing a tacky appearance of the bristles at the treatment site. However, if this happens, this aspect will disappear within 24 hours of application. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks. For optimal control of flea infestation, the treatment regimen can be based on the local epidemiological situation. The specialty may be toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate ponds, streams, and streams with empty product or containers. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
