Beaphar Caniguard Line-On Small Dog 3 Pipettes of 2ml Permethrin offers triple protection against fleas, ticks and phébotomes. Insecticide effectiveness against new flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) persists for 4 weeks. New fleas are eliminated within 48 hours of infestation. The product has not demonstrated an immediate acaricide effect against ticks, but its acaricide efficacy against new infestations persists for 6 weeks against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). If ticks of this species are present at the time of application, they may not all be killed within the first 48 hours, but may be killed within the first week. The product has a persistent insecticide activity for 3 weeks against phlebotomus (Phlebotomus perniciosus).

Indications:

Prevention in treatment of ticks, fleas, and sandflies in small dogs of 2-7. 5 kg

Composition:

Permethrin 40/60 0. 8 g, Excipients: Butylhydroxyanisole (E320), Butylhydroxytoluene (E321), Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.

Directions:

Apply directly to the skin: For a dog weighing less than 7. 5 kg: 1 pipette of 2ml. The minimum interval between two treatments is 4 weeks. Spread the hairs from the dorsal line from the shoulder blades to the base of the tail so that the skin is visible.  Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the pipette gently to empty its contents on the skin along the dorsal line while taking care to stay in contact with the skin. . Do not use in dogs less than 2 months old or weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use on animals that are sick, convalescent or have skin lesions. Do not use other insecticide compounds simultaneously. Do not use in cats as it can cause convulsions that can be fatal. The use of the specialty in pregnant or nursing females is not recommended. External route only. Veterinary use. Do not swallow.
