Directions:

Dosage and route of administration: External use only. Cutaneous use. A dog collar to tie around the neck. Remove the collar from the packing bag just before use. Adjust the collar around the neck of the animal so that it is not too loose or too tight: two fingers side by side must be able to pass between the necklace and the neck of the dog. Cut any excess more than 5 cm after the loop. Regularly check and adjust the collar simply by exerting pressure on the top of the buckle, then slide the collar into the proper position. Contraindications: Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks old. Do not use on dogs with skin lesions. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not use on cats. Deltamethrin is toxic to cats. Special warnings for each target species: Since the collar reaches its optimal level of effectiveness after one week, the collar should preferably be applied one week before the animal is likely to be exposed to an infestation of parasites. Typically, ticks and sandflies will be killed and fall from the host within 48 and 24 hours, respectively, without feeding on blood. The fixation of an isolated tick or the bite of an isolated sandfly after treatment can not be excluded. Therefore, transmission of infectious diseases by ticks or sandflies can not be totally ruled out if the conditions are unfavorable. To treat flea infestations optimally in a home where several animals live, all dogs in the household must be treated at the same time. Pet fleas often infest their basket, sleeping area and usual resting areas, such as carpets and upholstery. In case of massive infestations, and from the beginning of pest control measures, these areas should be vacuumed regularly and treated with a suitable insecticide.
