Biogaran Amylmetacresol/Dichlorobenzyl alcohol/Lidocaine 223 mg/446 mg/600 mg spray is a medicine indicated to relieve the symptoms of moderate infection of the mouth and throat associated with pain, without fever. It is reserved for adults and children over 12 years old.
What is the composition of Biogaran Amylmetacresol/dichlorobenzyl alcohol/lidocaine oral spray?
This Biogaran medication contains two local antiseptics with antibacterial effect:

Amylmetacresol: 0.223 g
2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol: 0.446 g

For 100ml
And a local anesthetic:

Lidocaine hydrochloride: 0.690 g (equivalent to 0.600 g of lidocaine)

Amylmetacresol/Dichlorobenzyl alcohol/Lidocaine spray also contains the following excipients: Ethanol 96%, Liquid sorbitol (non-crystallizing) 70%, Erythrosine, Sodium saccharin, Citric acid monohydrate, Glycerol, Levomenthol, Peppermint flavor, Anise flavor, Sodium hydroxide, Purified water

How to take Biogaran Amylmetacresol/dichlorobenzyl alcohol/lidocaine mouth spray?
Biogaran Amylmetacresol/Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol/Lidocaine oral spray comes in the form of an oral spray solution with a peppermint and anise flavor. It is available in a pump bottle with spray tip.
Always carefully follow the recommendations of your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dosage is as follows:

For adults and adolescents over 15 years old: 2 sprays in the mouth and/or throat, 1 to 6 times per day.
For adolescents between 12 and 15 years old: 2 sprays in the mouth and/or throat, 1 to 4 times a day.

Precautions for using Biogaran Amylmetacresol/dichlorobenzyl alcohol/lidocaine spray
This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Do not use if allergic to any component of this medication or to local anesthetics.
Due to the risk of aspiration linked to the presence of a local anesthetic, it is recommended NOT to eat immediately after using this mouthwash. Elderly and weakened people are more exposed to adverse effects. It is advisable to consult a doctor before use.
Do not take this medication in case of asthma, significant lesions in the mouth or throat.
The use of this medication is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Excessive consumption or over a long period can lead to disorders of the central nervous system, with risk of convulsions, or of the cardiovascular system.
