Biogaran Propolis Syrup to relieve dry and oily coughs
Biogaran Conseil Syrup Propolis is a cough syrup suitable for ages 3 and up. This syrup helps relieve both dry and wet coughs. It is formulated with beehive and plant products, and it will build a soothing protective filter to soothe coughs and the upper respiratory tract.
Coughing is a natural mechanism of the body. The wet cough helps to evacuate the mucus and the dry cough the irritating agents present in the respiratory tract. But the cough can be poorly tolerated. Biogaran Conseil syrup for dry or oily coughs is designed to relieve coughs.
It acts on wet coughs thanks to its moisturizing action, which helps expel mucus. In case of dry cough, it constitutes a protective film which protects the mucous membrane from agents which can irritate it, it softens it and relieves it.
It owes its properties to its combination of natural extracts, honey and propolis. Thus, plaintain provides an anti-inflammatory and softening effect, and it is also antispasmodic. Althea, or wild mallow, provides mucilage which will cover the mucous membranes and protect them. Honey is renowned for its ability to soothe the throat and help the damaged mucous membrane to heal. Finally, propolis is said to be anti-inflammatory and antibiotic.
Dosage of Biogaran propolis syrup
Child 3 to 6 years old: 3 mL 2 to 3 times / day.
Child 6 to 12 years old: 5 mL 2 to 3 times / day.
Adolescents and adults: 7.5 mL 3 times / day.
