Cohosh is a perennial plant in the Ranunculaceae family. This plant with jagged leaves, small white flowers in clusters and toxic black fruits rich in alkaloids and proto-anemomine, is found between Europe and Asia.

The plant is macerated in a solvent. We then obtain a mother tincture (plant extract mixed with a hydroalcoholic solution).
