What do Aesculus hippocastanum granules contain?
It contains the Aesculus hippocastanum strain. It comes from the horse chestnut tree, also called white chestnut tree or common chestnut tree.
This medication from Boiron laboratories is also formulated with two excipients: lactose and sucrose.
How to take Aesculus hippocastanum Boiron granules?
Its mode of administration is oral. In adults and children over 6 years old, the granules of Aesculus hippocastanum should be allowed to melt once placed under the tongue. In children under 6 years of age, the granules should be dissolved in a small amount of water.
To obtain the granules, the tube must be handled following the instructions on the label. The tube must first be inverted cap side down. The latter is then turned, which allows the opening of the tube. This can then be removed. The cap contains the granules for setting.
