Product Information

Agaricus muscarius is a homeopathic medicine in the form of sublingual granules developed by the Boiron laboratory.

Composition of Agaricus muscarius granules

The strain used is of fungal origin and comes from the fly agaric, a very popular mushroom despite its toxicity. It is in fact among the species most represented in collective imagery, with its reddish hat and the white warts which cover it. It resides mainly at the foot of deciduous and coniferous trees, present in the vast majority of forests in the northern hemisphere, as well as in slightly warmer latitudes such as those of the upper rim of the Mediterranean basin.

The fly agaric is not an edible mushroom, quite the contrary since it is particularly toxic and psychotropic.

It is for this reason that it is of interest to homeopathy, the principle of which is based on that of similarities.
This pseudo-science postulates, in fact, a medicinal alternative which consists of "treating evil with evil", in some way, by the administration of substances whose effects are equivalent to the symptoms, and this with the aim of helping the body to trigger the defense mechanisms associated with the pathology. To do this, it proceeds to a maceration of the strain in question then to a succession of dilutions to the hundredth (or to the tenth depending on the need) in a solvent until the desired dosage is obtained, which will then be combined with granules.

Boiron offers you several dilutions of Agaricus muscarius.
