Composition of Amylium nitrosum granules
Amylium nitrosum granules is formulated from a chemical compound, amyl nitrite.

Amyl nitrite has long been used as a drug base in some treatments for heart conditions as a vasodilator.

Its original strain, which corresponds to a hydroalcoholic macerate in which the chemical compound was immersed, was subsequently diluted according to a process specific to homeopathy and defined by Samuel Hahnmann, a 19th century German doctor, founding father of this pseudo-science.

This dilution was done to the hundredth, at the rate of 1 drop of solution for 99 drops of solvent, as many times successively as the number of CH. This method would thus make it possible to attenuate the intensity of the primordial effects of the strain while preserving its properties thanks to the memory of the water which would have the capacity to retain an imprint of it. Homeopathy is based on the theory of similarities which states that the best way to treat an illness is to administer a substance with effects equivalent to those of the symptoms, at an infinitesimal dose, with the aim of "educating" a patient's immune system in its fight against the symptoms.
