Apis mellifica granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.
Composition of Apis mellifica granules
This medicine comes from an animal strain, in this case that of the worker bee.
Mostly harmless, the bee still has a sting which allows it to defend the nest and the air routes to the nest in the event of attack. The injected venom poses no particular danger to humans, except in cases of allergy, and may even be considered a very good counterpoison against certain diseases. And this is what interests homeopathy which is based on the "law of similarities" and which searches in nature for substances whose effects are close to the symptoms of the pathology to be treated, the aim being not to cure them, but to teach the body to defend itself, by activating its natural defense mechanisms.
Dosage of Apis mellifica in granules
Depending on the symptoms, the type of pathology and the physiology of the patient, Boiron has developed different hundredth dilutions which will be prescribed on medical advice. Each dilution is done by repeating the same principle from a mother tincture, i.e. 1 drop of solution for 99 drops of solvent.
In the form of lactose and sucrose granules, Apis mellifica de Boiron melts under the tongue.
