Boiron Avian Dose

Avian in dose is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.

Composition of Avian dose

Aviaire dose was developed from a strain, named Aviaire, from the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis, also known as Koch's bacillus (BK) after the scientist who discovered it Robert Koch, is the bacteria responsible for tuberculosis, a disease most often affecting the lungs.

For the manufacture of the Avian dose medicine, the bacteria is taken from the bird to make the strain of the medicine, hence its name Avian. In order to annihilate its harmful effects, the strain is transformed by successive dilutions to the hundredth, according to the principle specific to homeopathy, that is to say by mixing a drop of solution with 99 drops of solvent, here purified water. This process would have the advantage of retaining an imprint of the active substances thanks to the supposed memory of water. This results in several drugs at different dilutions.

Homeopathy is an alternative medicine founded and developed at the beginning of the 19th century from older works, some even dating back to antiquity for some. It defends the idea that most pathologies, if not all, can be cured by substances whose effects, at high doses, cause similar symptoms, by activating the body's various immune mechanisms in order to help the latter to defend itself.

How to use the Avian dose?

The Avian dose from the Boiron laboratory comes in the form of small globules of lactose and sucrose which are taken all at once by placing them under the tongue.
This homeopathic medicine is also available in granules of the avian strain, the choice will be made according to the dosage defined by the homeopathic doctor.
