Bocéal Sore Throat and Mouth Ulcer Spray from Boiron is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used in cases of moderate sore throats without fever, canker sores and small mouth sores. It comes in the form of a solution in a bottle for oral spray. This Boiron homeopathic medicine is reserved for adults and children over 6 years old.
Composition of Bocéal throat spray
The active substances are:
For 20 ml of solution
Plantago major - Plantain: 2 ml
Echinacea angustifolia - Echinacea: 2 ml
The other ingredients are: purified water, ethanol, glycerol, L-carvone.
Dosage of Bocéal throat spray
Apply 1 to 2 sprays, 3 to 6 times a day.
Space out the doses at the first signs of improvement.
As soon as the symptoms have disappeared, stop using Bocéal throat spray.
The treatment should not exceed 5 days.
If symptoms persist beyond 5 days of use, consult your doctor.
Method of administration of Bocéal throat spray
Oral route
Spraying should be done away from meals.
Before the first use, prime the spray pump by applying 3 to 4 pressures outside the mouth.
Hold the sprayer vertically with the pump facing upwards.
Rotate the rod sideways so it is horizontal.
Open your mouth and point the spray wand toward the throat.
Clean the spray wand after each use.
Bocéal oral spray can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
This homeopathic medicine contains ethanol: quantity less than 100 mg for two sprays.
The small amount of alcohol is not likely to cause any noticeable effects.
Precautions for using Bocéal throat spray
Before using this homeopathic medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
If symptoms persist beyond 5 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
In the event of high fever or increased fever (>38.5°C), purulent sputum, or difficulty swallowing, consult your doctor.
If you have more than 4 canker sore flare-ups per year, consult your doctor.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Use within 6 months after first use.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the box and sprayer.
Do not use Bocéal:
In children under 6 years old.
