The medicine Coca granules draws its properties from a plant strain, Coca, namely the Coca leaf, a plant originating and still mainly cultivated in South America. Consumed for its stimulating properties, coca has been an integral part of indigenous culture for millennia, particularly in the high altitude regions of the Andes.
How is Coca 9CH granules made?
After being dried, the coca leaf undergoes maceration in an alcoholic solution in order to extract the active ingredients. It then undergoes a succession of dilutions with purified water to the hundredth, i.e. 1 drop of solution for 99 drops of solvent, with the aim of attenuating its harmful effects and keeping only the imprint of its virtues thanks to the principle of water memory. Homeopathy, which appeared in the middle of the 19th century on the initiative of the German doctor Samuel Hahnemann, is based on the law of similarities which claims to cure a pathology by ingestion of substances with properties equivalent to its symptoms.
