Product Information

Coccus cacti dose is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.

Composition of the dose Coccus cacti

Coccus cacti is a strain derived from the female hemiptera cochineal.

For this strain, Boiron chose a cochineal which has just been fertilized, but whose eggs have not yet had time to develop. The female is flightless, immobile and measures 0.6 cm long. It lives attached to the plant, feeds on the sap and lays eggs gathered in whitish waxy clusters.

This strain is used for the preparation of a tincture which itself will be diluted and energized several times according to the principles specific to homeopathy. Homeopathy comes from the Greek “homeo” meaning similar and “pathos” meaning suffering. It was developed by Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century, a German doctor who updated a therapeutic method already used by Hippocrates, a Greek doctor three hundred years earlier. She bases her theories on that of similarities which claims that most pathologies can be effectively treated by substances whose effects are very close, or even equivalent to the symptoms specific to each disease.

The Coccus cacti strain is successively diluted to the hundredth (CH) or one drop for 99 drops of solvent. Boiron laboratories offer several dilutions of Coccus cacti.

Use of Coccus cacti dose

The dosage of Coccus cacti dose depends on many factors such as symptoms as well as the physiology and age of the patient. It is therefore essential to seek the advice of a doctor who will decide on the most suitable dilution and dosage.

The Coccus cacti remedy is in the form of a dose to be taken at once, but it can also be in a tube of granules with the granules of Coccus cacti.

Packaging: Single-dose tube (approximately 200 globules).
