The Boiron Covid Flu test is a rapid nasal antigen test which detects the presence of viruses responsible for influenza A and B and Covid-19.
When to use this Boiron rapid antigenic Covid Flu test?
It is recommended to use it if you experience the typical symptoms of these infections: fever, cough, pain, loss of taste or smell, or if you have been in contact with an infected person. In the latter case, it must be carried out 3 days after contact with the infected person.
This test can also be carried out at any time, even in the absence of symptoms or contact with an infected person, to ensure that one is not an asymptomatic carrier, for example.
Why use the Boiron Covid Flu self-test?
Influenza A and B and Covid are respiratory viral infections that can have identical symptoms. This self-test allows you to quickly determine if you have influenza A, influenza B, Covid or several of these infections simultaneously. It is very practical, since a single test allows the detection of 3 infections. It is also very simple to use and delivers results in just 20 minutes. How to use the Boiron Covid Flu test?
Insert the sample and rotate it 5 times in each nostril.
Place the swab with the collected sample into the extraction tube and press the head of the swab firmly against the wall of the tube while rotating the sample for approximately 10 seconds.
Instill 3 drops into the well of the test cassette.
Wait 20 minutes and read the results.
