They are composed of a homeopathic strain and two excipients.
The homeopathic strain is Drosera. This is the Drosera rotundifolia plant, the round-leaved Drosera, a plant mainly located in the northern hemisphere, a carnivorous plant that feeds on insects.
The two excipients are sucrose and lactose.
Dilution is a very important step in homeopathy. Drosera granules is available in different dilutions. These are CH, Hahnemannian Centesimals, dilutions to the hundredth. Their name comes from Samuel Hahnemann, the doctor who invented homeopathy at the end of the 18th century.

It is the oral route which constitutes the mode of administration of these Drosera granules. The granules should be placed under the tongue to melt, except before the age of 6, when they must be diluted in a small quantity of water before administration.
