What does Boiron Echinacea Angustifolia 6 DH contain?
The main ingredient of this homeopathic medicine is a species of echinacea, a plant native to North America. It owes its name to the small thorns (from the Greek echino) which adorn the center of the flower. The concentration of the plant extract was diluted 6 times using a homeopathic process which consists of mixing a drop in a solution composed of 99 drops of solvent. This alternative medicine is based on the principle of similarity and the idea that a pathology can be cured by substances whose effects at high concentration would cause the same symptoms. Its postulate lies in stimulating the immune system at low doses in order to help it fight pathology.

The excipient is alcohol, dosed at 30% v/v.

Administration is done exclusively orally, by diluting the drops in a glass of water. Only a homeopathic doctor is authorized to define the dosage. The latter is determined according to the pathology and physiology of the patient.
