Composition of Folliculinum granules
The homeopathic strain is Folliculinum. It is derived from folliculin, an ovarian hormone secreted by the follicle.
This hormone is also called estrone. It is this hormone that causes the endometrium to thicken and is involved in the ovulation process.
The medicine Folliculinum granules is available in several homeopathic dilutions. These dilutions are called CH, that is to say Hahnemannian Centesimals which designate dilutions to the hundredth. They are named in reference to Samuel Hahnemann, founding father of homeopathy.
This medication is made up of granules which are packaged in a Boiron homeopathic tube. There are 80 of these granules. They are composed of the homeopathic Folliculinum strain as well as two excipients, which are sucrose and lactose.
Dosage of Folliculinum granules
This medication, recommended for adults and children, is taken orally only. The granules should be allowed to melt under the tongue. In children under 6 years of age, it is necessary to dissolve them in a small quantity of water before administering it.
Precautions for use of Folliculinum granules
A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist.
Lactose and sucrose are excipients with a notorious effect.
Folliculinum granules is not recommended in the case of intolerance to certain sugars.
