The formula of the Boiron Witch Hazel compound medication brings together several strains at different dosages, formulated in synergy and incorporated into granules of lactose and sucrose, to be allowed to melt under the tongue:

Pulsatilla 3CH
Echinacea angustifolia 3CH
Fluoricum acidum 3 CH
Viburnum prunifolium 3CH
Tussilago farfara 3CH
Corylus avellana 6 DH
Aesculus hippocastanum 6 DH.
The CH and DH correspond to the type of dosage chosen for each strain. Each of them was in fact left to macerate to obtain a mother tincture before subsequently undergoing a series of dilutions in purified water as a solvent. The CH indicates a hundredth dilution of the initial solution, the DH a tenth dilution. The attached number designates the number of dilutions carried out. Maceration is carried out to detach the active ingredients from the strain while dilution helps reduce toxic effects. Indeed, if homeopathy relies on the law of similarities to develop its medicines, it only tends to retain an imprint whose role will be to stimulate immunity without harming it.
