The homeopathic medicine Hepar sulfuris calcareum dose derives its properties from two strains combined with each other in equal parts. The two strains combined are, on one side, purified sulfur flower and on the other, oyster limestone.
Purified sulfur flower is mainly used by gardeners to fight against parasites and the development of fungi responsible for diseases in certain plants. It is deposited directly on plant leaves, from which it releases sulfur vapors.
After being ground in lactose, the Hepar sulfuris calcareum dose strains produced a mother tincture, the solution underlying the homeopathic process. Founded in the mid-19th century as an alternative medicine, homeopathy is based on several principles, one of which concerns dilution. Intended to remove the potential toxic effects of the strain(s), homeopathic dilution is however based on the conviction that water (purified in this case) has a memory allowing it to keep an imprint of the primordial active ingredients. Dosed with CH, Hahnemanian centesimals, their mission is to stimulate the body's immune system and help it protect itself from the symptoms of specific pathologies.
