Homéogenic 9 lozenges from Boiron laboratories are a homeopathic medicine. Homeogen 9 is traditionally used in the treatment of sore throats, laryngitis and hoarseness. This medicine can be used in children from 2 years old and in adults.
Composition of Homeogen 9 sore throat
The strains that are included in the composition of this homeopathic medicine for hoarseness are:
Arnica montana 3 CH
Arum triphyllum 3 CH
Belladonna 3 CH
Bromum 3 CH
Bryonia 3 CH
Mercurius solubilis 3 CH
Phytolacca decandra 3 CH
Pulsatilla 3 CH
Spongia tosta 3 CH
They are all dosed at 0.278 mg per tablet of Homeogen 9.
The excipients included in the formula are sucrose, gum arabic, talc, magnesium stearate.
Dosage of Homéogenic 9 sore throat lozenges
1 tablet to suck 2 to 4 times a day. We space out the doses as soon as we notice an improvement in the symptoms and we stop the treatment as soon as they disappear.
In children under 6 years old, to avoid misdirection, dissolve the tablets in a little water.
The duration of treatment with Homégène 9 will not exceed one week without medical advice.
Precautions for use of Homeogen 9
This medication is contraindicated for people who are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the components.
Patients with fructose intolerance and malabsorption of glucose and galactose should refrain from using Homéogene 9.
These lozenges for hoarseness contain Pulsatilla 3 CH therefore Homéogenic should not be used in cases of otitis or sinusitis without medical advice.
