Hydrastis canadensis granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.
Composition of Hydrastis canadensis granules
The Boiron laboratory developed the drug Hydrastis canadensis granules from a plant strain, Hydrastis canadensis, derived from goldenseal.
This plant, native to North America, is a perennial species which perpetuates itself thanks to its rhizome, an underground stem, which allows it to remain protected from bad weather and cold weather. It is part of the Ranunculaceae family which counts among its most notorious members clematis, anemones and buttercups. The part of the plant used for the preparation of this homeopathic remedy concerns its very root, in which there is an isoquinoline alkaloid.
In the form of granules to be ingested by letting them melt under the tongue, Hydrastis canadensis has undergone a specific manufacturing process, first experimented with by the founder of homeopathy in the mid-19th century, a German doctor named Samuel Hahnemann. The medicine, like the vast majority of other homeopathic remedies, presents different dosages which were obtained by dilution in a solvent from a mother tincture.
Dosage of Hydrastis canadensis granules
These dilutions, carried out to the hundredth, or Hahnemannian centesimals (CH), make it possible to refine the dosage of Hydrastis canadensis according to the patient's symptoms and the latter's physiology. It is therefore advisable to consult a specialized doctor to find out the dosage and dilution suitable for your specific case.
Dilutions: 4 CH, 5 CH, 7 CH, 9 CH, 15 CH
Packaging: Tube of 80 granules
The Hydrastis canadensis strain is not only available in a tube of granules but also in a single dose with Hydrastis canadensis single dose.
