Ipeca granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.
Composition of Ipeca homeopathic granules
The strain of this homeopathic medicine is Ipeca, Ipecac.
The Ipecac (Cephaelis ipecacuanha or Cephaelis acuminata) is a small tree from South America. It measures 20 to 40 cm high and produces small white flowers, in clusters, giving rise to small red fruits.
The entire Ipecac plant is toxic.
Ipeca granules also contains the following known excipients with sucrose and lactose.
How to take Ipeca granules?
This homeopathic medicine should be taken sublingually. In other words, you must let the granules melt under your tongue.
To easily take the granules, it is recommended to position the tube upside down before opening it and rotating the cap to bring the granules down.
For children under 6 years old, you must take care to dissolve the granules beforehand in a small glass of water.
