Product Information

Jaborandi granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory

Composition of Jaborandi granules

The Jaborandi granules medicine comes from the Jaborandi plant strain.

The term Jaborandi is the name given by Native Americans to shrubs of the Rutaceae family. These shrubs are used for the extraction of pilocarpine, an alkaloid which is used for stimulation of saliva and tear manufacturing.

To make this medicine, the plant was crushed and brought into contact with a solvent containing alcohol for maceration. At the end of this step, we obtain a mother tincture rich in plant active ingredients. This mother tincture is then diluted several times. There is then impregnation of granules. These include two excipients, sucrose and lactose. A Boiron tube contains 80 of these granules. Thus, Boiron Jaborandi granules is available in several different degrees of dilution. These degrees are indicated in CH. These are Hahnemannian Centesimals. This term indicates that there has been dilution to the hundredth. The name of these dilutions is a reference to Samuel Hahnemann, the founding doctor of homeopathy.

Dosage of Jaborandi Boiron granules

These granules are taken orally. They are to be left under the tongue. They will melt there. For administration to a child under 6 years old, the granules should be dissolved in a little water.

Precautions for use of Boiron Jaborandi granules

This homeopathic medicine contains sucrose and lactose, excipients with a notorious effect. There is a contraindication in case of intolerance to certain sugars.
If, despite taking Boiron Jaborandi granules, symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor.

Packaging: tube of 80 granules.
