Kalium phosphoricum granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.
Composition of Kalium phosphoricum granules
Kalium phosphoricum granules are made from the Kalium phosphoricum strain as well as two excipients, sucrose and lactose.
Kalium phosphoricum refers to monopotassium phosphate. Phosphate is an ion found naturally in the body, particularly in the fluid between cells. It plays a role in many biochemical reactions in the body. Monopotassium phosphate is also used in industry, for example as a food additive.
The homeopathic strain, when it is animal or plant, is macerated. When it is chemical or mineral, it is crushed. The result of these processes, trituration, is then diluted several times. Dilutions to the hundredth, called Centesimal Hahnemannian in reference to the doctor who founded homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann, are abbreviated as CH. Then there is impregnation of granules. These, 80 in number, are packaged in a Boiron tube.
Dosage of homeopathic Kalium phosphoricum granules
This homeopathic medicine is to be taken orally. The granules should, in adults and children over 6 years old, be left under the tongue to melt. In children under 6 years old, they should be dissolved in a little water.
If the recommended dosage requires taking doses, then take Kalium carbonicum granules.
