Boiron Labia Meo Granules

Labia Meo granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory. It comes in the form of granules packaged in tubes. This homeopathic medicine is traditionally used in outbreaks of localized cold sores. This phenomenon is also known as a “cold sore”.

Boiron Labia Meo has the active substances Apis mellifica 15 CH, Rhus toxicodendron 15 CH, Cantharis 15 Ch and Mezereum 15 CH. A 4 g tube contains 0.01 ml of each of these substances.
This medication also includes two excipients: sucrose and lactose.
Dosage of Boiron Labia Meo tube granules
This medication is taken sublingually. The granules should be allowed to melt under the tongue.
The dosage is 5 granules 3 to 5 times a day.
The doses should be spaced out as soon as there is improvement and stopped when the symptoms disappear.
Treatment should be started as soon as possible after the first signs of cold sores appear. These signs are: pain, burning, itching, tingling or redness.
Precautions for use of Labia Meo Boiron
This medication should never be taken if you are allergic to its active substances or any of its other components.
Labia Meo is not recommended in patients suffering from galactose or fructose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, sucrase/isomaltase deficiency or glucose and galactose malabsorption syndrome.
People who are severely immunocompromised (examples: having had a bone marrow transplant or suffering from AIDS) should consult a doctor regarding the treatment of any infection.
Medical advice is required before using this medication in children in the case of a primary infection.
