LHF tangerine lollipops from the Boiron laboratory are a homeopathic medicine generally administered in the treatment of cough to treat the symptoms. It is reserved for adults and children aged 6 and over.
The active substances are for a 1.7 g sucking paste: Aconitum napellus 5 CH (0.425 mg); Bryonia 5 CH (0.425 mg); Drosera 5 CH (0.425 mg) and Ipeca 5 CH (0.425 mg).
The other components of these lollipops are gum arabic, sucrose, glucose, sorbitol (E420), mandarin essence and yellow-orange coloring S (E110).
The excipients with a notable effect are sucrose, glucose, sorbitol and the yellow-orange coloring.
Dosage of Boiron LHF mandarin pectoral pastes
For adults: 6 to 12 pastas per day maximum.
For children aged 6 and over: 6 pasta maximum per day.
The shots should be spaced out depending on the improvement.
The method of administration of these gums is by mouth.
The maximum treatment duration is one week. If there is no improvement after 3 days, consult a doctor.
If you take too much of this medication, you should immediately consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions for use of Boiron cough adjuvant mandarin pastes
LHF Mandarin Pectoral Pastes should not be taken if you are allergic to any of the active substances or components contained in this medicine (azo coloring agent (E110). They should not be taken by a child under 6 years of age.
As this medicine contains sucrose and glucose. Its use is not recommended in patients with an intolerance to certain sugars.
These Boiron mandarin pectoral pastes contain 148.3 mg of sorbitol per paste. Sorbitol is a source of fructose. If you have been informed by your doctor of an intolerance to certain sugars or if you have been diagnosed with IHF, a hereditary fructose intolerance, you should contact your doctor before taking this medication. Finally, the azo dye contained in this medication may cause allergic reactions.
You are advised to inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicine, even if obtained without a prescription.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek advice from their doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication.
These Boiron pectoral pastes can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
