The strain of this homeopathic medicine is Lobelia inflata, which is the Latin name for swollen lobelia also called Indian tobacco.
Indian tobacco is a herbaceous plant which belongs to the Campanulaceae family. It is native to North America and its long stems can measure up to 1 meter. The leaves of Indian tobacco contain lobeline. It was used by Native Americans as a tobacco substitute.
This homeopathic medicine also contains the following excipients with known effect: sucrose and lactose.
Method of administration of the Lobelia inflata 5 CH dose
The homeopathic medicine, Lobelia inflata 5 CH comes in the form of a single tube containing 200 homeopathic globules.
The dose should be taken orally only, specifically sublingually by placing all the granules of the single dose under your tongue and letting them melt slowly until completely absorbed.
Lobelia inflata also comes in the form of granular tubes with Lobelia inflata granules.
Precautions for using Lobelia inflata dose
For children under 6 years old, you should take care to dissolve the granules in a glass of water.
