Composition of Mezereum granules
The strain of this homeopathic medicine is Mezereum, derived from Daphne mezereum.
Daphne mezereum, also called bois-joli or bois-gentil, is a shrub which belongs to the Thymeleaceae family.
This tree can be found both in woods and in mountainous areas. It produces small white to pinkish flowers with four petals which give rise to small red berries. Note that the whole plant is very toxic.
Mezereum granules also contains the following excipients with known effect: lactose and sucrose.
Method of administration of Mezereum granules
This homeopathic medicine should be taken sublingually.
Before opening the tube, turn it upside down and twist its cap to gently let each granule fall into it.
You should place the homeopathic granules under your tongue and let them melt slowly, without chewing them.
Be careful, however, for children under 6 years old: you must take care to dissolve the Mezereum granules in a glass containing a little water.
If symptoms persist despite taking Mezereum granules, consult your doctor.
