Monilia Albicans granules are made from yeast derived from the most widespread species of Candida Albicans, Monilia albicans.
Monilia albicans is a microscopic fungus that is naturally found in the different flora that colonize human mucous membranes and whose pathological impact remains relatively neutral in healthy people. However, it nevertheless retains a risk of infection in immunocompromised patients suffering from AIDS or cancer for example. Chemotherapy, which weakens the immune system and destroys the microbiota, is in fact likely to stimulate its proliferation.
