Composition of Oxalicum acidum 30CH granules
The strain name of this medication, Oxalicum acidum, refers to oxalic acid.
This solid crystalline compound is commonly called “sorrel salt”. Oxalic acid is naturally present in many fruits and vegetables.
It has the property of fixing calcium. Once in an acidic environment, for example in the urine, the calcium salt of oxalic acid risks crystallizing and forming stones.
To prepare this medicine, oxalic acid powder was crushed. At the end of this process, several dilutions were carried out.
These dilutions were carried out to the hundredth. They are called Hahnemann Centesimals (CH) in reference to the doctor considered the founder of homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann. After dilution and dynamization, granules made up of two excipients, sucrose and lactose, were impregnated.
