Composition of Pertussinum 15CH in granules

Pertussinum granules are obtained from a strain, Pertussinum, derived from a lysate extract produced by sputum from people suffering from whooping cough disease, but not yet treated.

Whooping cough is an infectious pathology which affects the respiratory tract and which can be caused by two bacteria: Bordetella pertussis and Bordetella parapertussis.
This disease manifests itself by a severe cough that can last up to eight weeks, with very noisy paroxysmal fits reminiscent of rooster crowing.

Dosage of Pertussinum 15CH granules

In the form of sucrose and lactose granules, this homeopathic medicine offers several dilutions which are chosen according to the patient's symptoms, but also their physiology. Each of its dilutions was made from the same mother tincture, an aqueous solution, the result of the maceration of the strain. Made to the hundredth, i.e. 1 drop of original solution mixed with 99 drops of purified water, the dilutions are then repeated a certain number of times, indicated by the number attached to the term CH, indicating the number of Hahnemannian centesimals. The higher the number, the greater the dilution.

Taken orally, Pertussinum granules melt under the tongue for better absorption.
