Prostate granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory. It is made from a strain of animal origin. It was crushed, then macerated with a solvent that contains alcohol. The result of this maceration is a mother tincture which contains active ingredients from the strain. This mother tincture is then diluted several times. Dilution plays a fundamental role in homeopathy, a practice that was founded more than two centuries ago by Samuel Hahnemann, a physician. When carried out to the hundredth, the dilution is called Centesimal Hahnemannian (CH). For example, Prostate granules 7 CH means that there have been 7 hundredth dilutions. After the dilution and the dynamization step, granules whose excipients are sucrose and lactose are impregnated with the solution.
Prostate refers to the gland located under the bladder. It is involved in the production of certain components of sperm. It secretes seminal fluid, which allows sperm to be transported.
Dosage of Prostate homeopathic granules from Boiron
This medication is taken orally; the granules should be allowed to melt once placed under the tongue. To administer it to a child under 6 years old, dissolve the granules in a little water.
