Quietude syrup is a homeopathic medicine from Boiron laboratories. This medicine for children from 1 year old is available without a prescription. It is traditionally used in cases of temporary nervousness and in cases of minor sleep disorders.
The homeopathic strains used in the composition of this baby sleep syrup are Chamomilla 9CH, Gelsemium 9CH, Hyoscyamus niger 9CH, Kalium bromatum 9CH, Passiflora incarnata 9CH, Stramonium 9CH, each dosed at 1.5 g.
The other components of Quietude syrup are sucrose, 96% ethanol, benzoic acid, caramel and water.
Dosage of Quietude baby sleep syrup
In children between 12 months and 30 months, the use of this medication should be done on medical advice.
The recommended dosage is 5 ml morning and evening using the measuring cup.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days without medical advice in children over 30 months. If sleep disturbances or nervousness persist, treatment should be reassessed.
Precautions for using Quietude syrup
Do not give this medicine to your child in the event of an allergy to any of the constituents, particularly fructose, or in the event of glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome.
