The strain of the homeopathic medicine Robinia Pseudo-Acacia comes from the bark of the pseudo-acacia locust tree, so called because of its resemblance to true acacias without being part of the same family.
Native to North America, the locust tree is characterized by a height of up to 20 to 30 meters and by its fruits which take the form of pods containing seeds. It tolerates frost very well and can grow on poor soils which it helps to enrich and revegetate thanks to its roots which have the capacity to fix nitrogen. This is also one of its main uses by humans.
