Sabal serrulata compound is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory. It comes in the form of an oral solution. It is composed of 8 homeopathic strains and an excipient. For each homeopathic strain, a mother tincture was prepared, generally by maceration of the strain in a solvent containing alcohol. This mother tincture was then diluted several times. When these dilutions have been made to the hundredth, they are called Hahnemannian Centesimals (CH) and if they are made to the tenth, they are called Hahnemannian Decimals (DH).
This compound is formulated with Sabal serrulata 3 CH, Acidum picricum 3 CH, Baryta carbonica 3 CH, Berberis vulgaris 3 CH, Thuya occidentalis 3 CH, Pulsatilla 3 CH, Conium maculatum 3 CH and Thlaspi bursa pastoris 6 DH.
What does Sabla serrulata compound contain?
Sabal serrulata refers to the saw palm, or Florida palm. Acidum picricum is the scientific name for picric acid. Baryta carbonica is barium carbonate. Berberis vulgaris is the scientific name for the barberry, a shrub. Thuya occidentalis refers to white cedar. It is a North American conifer. Pulsatilla comes from the pulsatilla anemone, an herbaceous plant that can be found in Europe. Conium maculatum is the name of the Greater Hemlock, a herbaceous plant known for its toxicity. Finally, Thlaspi bursa pastoris is one of the names of shepherd's purse, or Mithridates mustard.
All plants from which strains of this compound have been extracted have in the past been used as medicinal plants to treat various ailments.
Dosage of Sabal serrulata compound Boiron
This homeopathic medicine is administered orally. The drops should be diluted in a little water. It is advisable to keep them in your mouth for a few moments before swallowing them. The drops should be taken away from meals.
Precautions for use of Boiron Sabal serrulata compound
If, despite taking this medication, symptoms persist, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
This medicine contains alcohol. Its alcoholic strength is indicated on the label. Due to the presence of alcohol, it should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women and is reserved for adults.
