Sciatic nerve granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.

Composition of sciatic nerve granules

The strain used in these granules is Sciatic Nerve.

The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the human body.
It is also the longest. This nerve allows us to flex the leg and also extend the foot. Furthermore, it is to him that we owe the sensitivity of the foot and part of the leg. When some of the roots of this nerve are compressed, sciatica occurs.

To develop this medicine, a sample of sciatic nerve, of animal origin, was crushed and macerated in a solvent.
This maceration resulted in a mother tincture. This was then diluted. It has undergone several dilutions to the hundredth. They are called Hahnemann Centesimals in reference to the founder of homeopathy, Doctor Samuel Hahnemann. These dilutions are abbreviated as CH. For example, 5 CH means that 5 hundredth dilutions have been carried out. Then, the granules are impregnated with this diluted mother tincture.

The granules are also composed of two excipients, sucrose and lactose.

Dosage of Sciatic nerve granules

This homeopathic medicine is to be taken orally. The granules, in adults and children over 6 years old, should be allowed to melt under the tongue. For administration to a child under 6 years of age, they must be dissolved in a little water.
