Product Information

Solanum malacoxylon granules is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory.

Composition of Solanum malacoxylon granules

The Boiron medication in granules Solanum malacoxylon is made up of a strain of plant origin, Solanum malacoxylon, its name designating a plant of the Solanaceae family, the glaucous-leaved Solanum.
This plant is native to Argentina. It is toxic to animals, especially livestock, because once ingested, it causes calcification of soft tissues.

To make this medicine, the plant was first crushed. It then macerated in contact with a solvent with alcohol. The result was a mother tincture, containing active ingredients. Then, this mother tincture was diluted several times, dynamized before impregnating granules. The latter include, in addition to the strain, excipients, sucrose and lactose.
In homeopathy, a practice founded in the 18th century by Samuel Hahnemann, dilution plays a fundamental role. When it is to the hundredth, we speak of Hahnemannian Centesimals (CH).

Dosage of Solanum malacoxylon granules

This homeopathic medicine is administered orally. The granules should be allowed to melt under the tongue. In children under 6 years old, the granules will be diluted in a little water.

Solanum malacoxylon also exists in dose form, Solanum malacoxylon dose globules.

Precautions for using Solanum malacoxylon granules

If symptoms persist, consultation with a doctor is necessary.

In case of intolerance to certain sugars, Solanum malacoxylon granules is contraindicated.
Lactose and sucrose, present in the granules, are excipients with a notable effect.
