What is the composition of Spongia tosta granules?

The Boiron drug strain, Spongia tosta, is obtained from the animal sponge.

The sponge is the skeleton of the animal of the species Spongia officinalis. This is roasted (tosta), reduced to powder then left to macerate and finally mixed with lactose and sucrose to form globules.

What are the indications for Spongia tosta Boiron in granules?

Like the majority of homeopathic medicines, Spongia Tosta offers a more or less broad spectrum of therapeutic indications which depend on the dilution chosen by the patient. Once crushed and macerated in an aqueous solution, the strain is, in fact, mixed successively with purified water, which acts as a solvent, at a rate of 1 drop per 99, or Hahnemannian centesimals.
These different dilutions make it possible to obtain a spectrum of activity that can be handled by the homeopathic doctor.

What is the dosage of Spongia tosta granules?

The dosage is determined based on the patient's physiology and symptoms. It is preferably established by a specialized doctor.

The granules should be placed under the tongue and allowed to melt slowly.
