The Sticta pulmonaria strain of this Boiron dose medication is of plant origin.

It is obtained from pulmonary lichen, known as lung lichen.

Lung lichen is a plant found on trees and rocks. It is a large lichen which has numerous alveoli on its leaves, alveoli evoking the shape of the lung lobes, hence its name.

When developing a homeopathic medicine in dose form, the strain is macerated to obtain a mother tincture. This is then diluted using a solvent before impregnating globules. A dilution to the hundredth is called Centesimale Hahnemanniennes (CH), in reference to Samuel Hahnemann, founder of homeopathy at the end of the 18th century. 5 CH, for example, means that there have been 5 hundredth dilutions.

Sticta pulmonaria dose is, therefore, available in different dilutions.

How to take the Sticta pulmonaria 15CH Boiron dose?
This homeopathic medicine must be taken orally, sublingually. All the globules contained in a single dose must be taken at once.
These globules must be left under the tongue to melt there.
For administration to a child under 6 years old, the globules must be dissolved in a little water.
Sticta pulmonaria can also be taken in a tube of granules with Sticta pulmonaria in granules.
