This is iodine sulfide which owes its particularity to its high iodine content, between 75% and 82%. Sulfur and iodine are the main players in a thermochemical process that is the subject of industrial energy research. The relationship between these two chemical elements is therefore very particular and interesting from every point of view.
Homeopathy relies on this relationship to develop Sulfur iodatum into granules according to its own manufacturing process. Reduced to powder, the iodine sulfide strain is then triturated in lactose before being diluted several times in a solvent in order to obtain various final dosages which will subsequently be integrated into a background treatment. Each dilution was carried out to the hundredth or centesimal Hahnemanian (CH). The higher the number, the greater the dilution.
