Composition of Tabacum granules Boiron
The Boiron Tabacum granules medicine is obtained from a strain of plant origin, Nicotiana tabacum, tobacco.
Tobacco is a plant whose dried leaves are used to make manufactured tobacco, which is used in particular in the composition of cigarettes. Tobacco is mainly grown due to the presence of an alkaloid that its leaves contain: nicotine.
To make the drug Tabacum granules, dried tobacco leaves were brought into contact with a solvent for maceration. At the end of this step, a mother tincture is obtained. It contains plant active ingredients. This mother tincture is then diluted several times. The dilutions carried out to the hundredth are called Hahnemannian Centesimals. These are the CH, whose name comes from the doctor who founded homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann. The diluted and dynamized mother tincture is used to impregnate granules made up of sucrose and lactose.
Dosage of Tabacum granules
The granules should be allowed to melt once placed under the tongue. In children under 6 years of age, these granules should be dissolved in a little water before administration.
Precautions for use of Tabacum homeopathic granules
