Boiron Verrusyl Oral Solution is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used against warts in dogs and cats. Warts, well known in humans, can also affect our pets. It is a viral infection also known as papilloma, caused by the papillomavirus. Very contagious, this virus is introduced into the body of our pets via a small wound or the mucous membranes, when the cat or dog licks itself or comes into contact with a contaminated surface. The wart takes the appearance of a growth that is most often benign, but which is likely to transform into a cancerous tumor.
Composition of Verrusyl oral solution Boiron
Verrusyl drops from the Boiron laboratory are a homeopathic medicine that combines several homeopathic strains:
Thuya occidentalis 4 CH (western thuja): western thuja is a conifer well known for forming hedges around gardens.
Staphysagria 5 CH (staphisagria): staphisagria also called “lice weed” is a very toxic plant which grows mainly in the Mediterranean basin. It belongs to the Ranunculaceae family.
Nitricum acidum 5 CH (nitric acid): nitric acid is a highly corrosive chemical compound. It is particularly used by dermatologists in cases of warts.
Antimonium crudum 5 CH (antimony): this strain comes from antimony. It is of mineral origin.
Causticum 5 CH: strain obtained from a mixture of lime and potassium bisulfate.
Sabina 4 CH (sabine juniper): the sabine juniper is a toxic conifer common in Europe and sometimes used as an ornamental shrub in gardens.
Calcarea carbonica 7 CH (calcium carbonate): calcium carbonate comes from oyster shells.
The homeopathic veterinary medicine Verrusyl Boiron also contains ethanol at 15% (v/v) QSP 1 ml (excipient).
