Description
Borax / Boric Acid Viatris Ophthalmic Solution is an antiseptic and mildly astringent eye-wash solution intended for the relief of eye irritation.
The convenient single-dose containers provide an easy and hygienic way to wash the eyes when needed. One single-dose container can be used to treat both eyes.
Indications
This ophthalmic solution is used for eye washing in cases of eye irritation.
Eye irritation may sometimes be caused by an infection. If you are unsure of the cause of your symptoms, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Directions for Use
Ophthalmic use.
Gently press the single-dose container while directing the stream toward the eye. Wipe away any excess solution with a clean compress.
One single-dose container can be used for both eyes.
Usual Dosage
Use 1 to 3 eye washes per day, as needed.
Precautions
- Do not use this medication for prolonged periods without seeking medical advice.
- Eye irritation may be caused by an infection. Consult your doctor if you have any doubt about the cause of your symptoms.
- For ophthalmic use only.
