It is recommended for local use to treat small superficial wounds, cracks, abrasions, chapped skin and insect bites.
This medicine is composed of Calendula mother tincture. It also contains ethanol with an alcohol strength of 55% V/V.
How to use the Boiron Calendula officinalis mother tincture?
This medicine is intended for external use, it should not be swallowed.
The mother tincture of Calendula Officinalis is used cutaneously. It is applied to the skin, using a compress in the area concerned, 1 to 4 times a day.
You must stop the applications as soon as the symptoms disappear, and not exceed one week of treatment.
In children under 6 years of age, its use requires medical advice.
Precautions for use of Calendula officinalis Boiron mother tincture
You should never use Calendula Officinalis Boiron Mother Tincture in case of hypersensitivity to Calendula or known sensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae family.
Calendula Officinalis Boiron Mother Tincture should not be applied to oozing dermatoses, superinfected lesions or wounds, nor to the eyes and mucous membranes.
As a precaution, the use of this medication should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
